We couldn’t do what we do without the support of these wonderful people
So here I am in my Home town. Yep Brummie born 'n' bred and proud of it. Such a friendly
city, the Brummies always make you feel welcome. We have just flown from Belfast
to Birmingham and I am excited to finally be playing here after all these years.
We all wander down town looking for somewhere to eat and end up in Pizza Hut in Corporation
St. Adrian tells us all of his past life as PA for Pierce Brosnan 007. Boy is that
an eye-opener. Imagine you're in a bar in LA and James Bond walks in and wants a
game of pool with you!!
So, back to the O2... gig great size, all gear working great more importantly. Crowd were fantastic on the night, didn’t let me down. Sang loud and proud.
Pleased all gear worked well, Mainstage def the way to go. This is a program on my Macbook Pro that basically turns my laptop into a huge bank of sounds that I can access from my keyboard. Still not completely sure on putting my whole trust on a computer, you know how they can just stop working for no reason which would leave me looking like an idiot but I have my trusty Roland G7 to watch my back!!
Enough of the geek report, back to Rock 'n' Roll ...
See ya on the other side peeps,
Jem
